Exploring New Space(s) in Business and Technology
Last September, Madrid became the hub for the Annual Management Conference of TNG, an event that brings together members of the TÜV NORD group from all around the world. This year, ALTER TECHNOLOGY had the honour of hosting the conference, providing a platform for the company’s leaders and experts to discuss strategies and future objectives.
The conference covered key topics, including the presentation of new business units, a comprehensive financial summary, and high-level speeches from our President and the Chairman of the Supervisory Board, who shared their vision and strategic goals for the future.
Among the guest speakers, Francisco Herrera, a professor from the University of Granada and an expert in artificial intelligence, stood out with his insightful presentation on the trends and advancements in AI. We also welcomed Antonio Abad, the director of Hispasat, whose talk garnered great interest from the attendees, and Teresa Riesgo, Secretary-General of Innovation, who explored innovation prospects in Spain and Europe.
However, the highlight of the event was the talk by quantum physics expert Rupert Ursin, co-founder of Quantum Technology Laboratories, who delivered a captivating analysis of the future of this emerging technology. Additionally, aligning with the group’s strategic objectives, J.E. Román, Vice President of Boeing Research and Technology, offered his perspective on the future of aerospace technologies. Jorge San José from INDRA also delivered a significant presentation on the Future Combat Air System (FCAS), a crucial project in the defence sector.
The TNG Management Conference 2024 was not only an opportunity to share knowledge and strategies but also a platform to strengthen the cohesion and commitment of all group members as they look towards an innovative and global future.
