The Quantum Technology Vision Paper recently published by Technology Scotland summarises the current status of the Scottish quantum sector and includes recommendations for enabling future growth.
The paper highlights the strength of this sector within Scotland and the valuable collaborative partnerships that exist in the area. Not only does ALTER feature as a case study in the paper, but we also have strong ties to other organisations - FCAP have kindly showcased the Flame device in their case study, and we are part of the QTAssemble and NiQi pilot accelerator projects. ALTER highly values the Scottish quantum ecosystem and the supply chain and collaborative relationships we have been able to forge with knowledge leaders like the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde and Fraunhofer CAP, and organisations like Kelvin Nanotechnology Ltd and the James Watt Nanofabrication Centre.
