NIR-VIS-UV LIDAR ECHO EMULATOR
HOLDON project, a Near-Infrared, Visible and Ultraviolet Lidar Echo Emulator (NIR-VIS-UV LEE) has been designed and manufactured at ALTER TECHNOLOGY.
HOLDON is capable of emulating the return echoes of a spatial lidar at three wavelengths (355 nm, 532 nm and 1064 nm).
The NIR-VIS-UV LEE will be used in laboratory environment to characterize the critical optical parameters of the lidar detection chain (a HgCdTe APD directly hybridized with a custom designed CMOS ROIC).
In-depth characterization of the lidar detection module is a key task to evaluate compliance with the requirements for which it was designed and to feed future designs with real figures from the lidar detection chain.
