Fusion energy will generate thousands of jobs over the next few years in Europe. That was one of the conclusions of the conference 'Job opportunities for young people in fusion', which brought together more than 160 students and young researchers at the CIEMAT (Energy, Environmental and Technological Research Center).
The conference has also brought together the most relevant companies in the science industry sector, such as ALTER. Which have disclosed and reviewed the main job opportunities that are opening up and will open up in the coming years for young researchers and technologists in fusion energy.
Due to the continuous growth of companies in the science industry, a constant recruitment of talent is required. For this reason, one of the key moments during this day held at the CIEMAT, have been the bilateral meetings between companies and students.
