Alter Technology, European leader for all high reliability electronic component requirements, covering testing, engineering, procurement, storage, quality control, certification and consultancy, and Saphyrion SAGL, a private company specialized in the design and development of space-qualified integrated circuits as well as instruments for GNSS data analysis, announce that both companies have started a cooperation for production and testing of Radiation-Hard ASICs for space market.
With this cooperation, Saphyrion will be able to offer to the market full space grade components that meet the expected tight quality requirements; this is achieved thanks to the long-lasting experience of ALTER in the space segment, with special focus in packaging and testing activities, developed during the last 37 years. The excellence in the front-end technology developed by Saphyrion, linked to the space recognized back-end solutions provided by Alter make a perfect match.
