Certification Body

Product certification aims to demonstrate to the market and regulatory bodies that a product meets the standardized quality requirements that apply to it.

Demonstrating the conformity of a product or service with the applicable regulatory or normative requirements is key to its commercialization:

• For the public, it provides the basis for selecting which product to purchase and confidence in its performance.
• For authorities, it provides the means to ensure compliance with laws and achieve public objectives such as safety.
• For manufacturers, it guarantees compliance with regulations and access to the market.

It is essential that these activities are carried out by a competent, impartial, independent, responsible, and reliable body that has the necessary means and personnel with appropriate training and experience. This competence is demonstrated by the accreditation of the Certification Body issued by ENAC.
